Pre-Physician Assistant

Degree Overview

When you study biology or chemistry, along with the pre-physician assistant track, expect to meet and connect with thought-leaders among USF’s science and other faculty.

Outcomes

A pre-physician assistant degree provides graduates with various career opportunities in the healthcare field, particularly in assisting physicians in patient care. 

Graduates can also work as medical assistants, supporting physicians in clinics or hospitals by taking patient histories, performing basic exams and scheduling appointments. Others may pursue roles in healthcare administration, managing physician practices, coordinating patient services and ensuring regulatory compliance.
