Biology Minor

Minor Overview

A biology minor offers students the opportunity to gain a solid foundation in biological sciences while pursuing a major in a different field. This minor enhances students' understanding of key biological concepts and principles, making it a valuable complement to various majors such as environmental science, chemistry, psychology, education and more.

Students who meet the regular degree requirements of the University for a major in some other program may receive a minor in biology by completing five biology courses and two semesters of colloquium, including giving one presentation.
