Jessica Jarding

Associate Professor, Nursing

Jessica Jarding recevied her Masters in Nursing Education degree from the University of Wyoming in 2012. She recevied her B.S.N. from South Dakota State University in 2001. Jessica has experience in medical/surgical nursing, transplant and onoclogy nursing, as well as public and mental health nursing. 

Jessica has lived near Sioux Falls for almost 20 years with her husband, Aaron, and their three children. She enjoys a good book or movie, gardening, and spending time witih family.

(ACHNE) The Association of Community Health Nursing Educators

The Association of Community Health Nursing Educators (ACHNE) provides a meeting ground for those committed to excellence in community and public health nursing education, research, and practice.  ACHNE was established in 1978 and is run by elected volunteer leaders who guide the organization in providing networking through the quarterly newsletter and membership directory and providing educational opportunities through publications and the Annual Institute.

Service/Volunteer Work

West Central High School Parent Booster Member

As a member of the parent booster, Jessica attends monthy meetings and serves as the girls' basketball team representative. As a Booster member and girls' basketball representative, Jessica is repsonsible for collaborating witih coaches and organizing team travel meals. She is also responsible for communicating important team information to fellow parents. 

St George Altar Society

Jessica is an active member of her home parish; St George.
