Lorri Halverson

Lorri A. Halverson, MBA is an Assistant Professor of Business and routinely teaches courses in microeconomics, macroeconomics and applied research.  Lorri has been at USF fulltime since 2012, having served as an adjunct for USF and other local colleges before that.  Prior to her time at USF, she worked for a professional online training company and spent more than a decade in the field of personal finance.  Her time in personal finance cemented her interest in income support programs and the impact of these programs and public policy on low-income families.  She continues to research these topics and engages her students in the research process.  Lorri has traveled to more than 12 countries and shares her experiences with students, seeking to be a catalyst for the development of their global mindsets and cultural appreciation.  Lorri received her MBA from University of Sioux Falls in 2004.
