Diane Van Den Oever is an Assistant Professor of Spanish who has taught the language for more than 20 years. The majority of her teaching experience has been in universities in South Dakota. For several years she taught Spanish for Native Speakers at North Side High School in Fort Worth, Texas.
In addition to her Spanish Language and Secondary Education studies at the University of South Dakota, Van Den Oever pursued some advanced study in Linguistics at the University of Texas at Arlington and completed Adult Higher Education studies within that doctoral program at USD.
