Virtual Registration

While we would love to have you on campus, we understand that sometimes schedules do not allow for a trip to USF. We offer two virtual registration dates to accommodate students. Please select the virtual event that works best in your schedule and let us know your preferred time of day for a 30-minute advising meeting. Advising appointment times will be scheduled about 2 weeks prior to each event.

What To Expect At A Registration Event

Prepare for Academic Advising

Academic advising is an opportunity to speak one-on-one with a faculty member in the major you have declared. During this conversation, you will discuss classes important to your major, the Liberal Arts Core and potential electives. Together, you will craft a class schedule that balances requirements with general courses of interest. To ensure the best schedule is created, please make sure you:

  1. Submit College Transcripts: If you have previous college courses (PSEO, Dual Enrollment etc.) please request an official transcript to be sent to admissions@usiouxfalls.edu once all final grades are posted. If you are currently enrolled in a course(s), please send a list of all courses you have taken as well.
  2. Submit Advance Placement Transcripts: USF accepts AP exams for credit for students that score either a 4 or 5. If you have any AP exam scores you wish to submit, please order a transcript to be sent directly to USF online.
  3. Familiarize yourself with your major: Become familiar with the curriculum and requirements of your declared major online.
