The Bridges Program

A group of people sit around tables in a meeting room, engaged in conversation or reading documents. A woman stands at the end of the table, smiling and holding papers. The room has beige walls and wooden accents. The atmosphere appears collaborative and focused.

Increase Your English Speaking Abilities

Bridges is an English language outreach program for adults in the Sioux Falls community. It is hosted by the University of Sioux Falls and funded in collaboration with Forward Sioux Falls*. Our English courses integrate reading, writing, listening and speaking for those who wish to increase their overall English proficiency through regular practice. Courses are offered during the morning and evening to accommodate students’ schedules.

*Forward Sioux Falls is a collaboration between the Greater Sioux Falls Area Chamber of Commerce and the Sioux Falls Development Foundation.

How to Register

Spring courses will begin January 7 and end on May 7, 2025. The cost for the entire semester is $100.

Bridges courses are not for college credit, so F-1 International Students are not eligible to enroll.
