If a career in medicine is your true calling, then the University of Sioux Falls is ideal for your bachelor's degree with pre-med track.

Before getting into upper-level courses for your pre-med education, you’ll begin with a solid core of liberal arts courses at the University of Sioux Falls in South Dakota. You will earn your accredited bachelor's degree in the sciences – typically biology or chemistry – before going on to your professional medical education.

 

Outcomes

Most commonly, the pre-medicine track is the path to continue your education in medical school to become a physician. 

However, there are alternative career paths and opportunities available to pre-med graduates, including physician assistants, nurse practitioners, medical researchers, healthcare administrators and medical writers. Other options include healthcare consultants, clinical research coordinators, pharmaceutical sales representatives and public health educators.
