The University of Sioux Falls provides hundreds of professional development and professional continuing education options to adult learners and local businesses and organizations in a variety of manners that are both convenient and affordable to employers and individuals.

Both online and on-campus in Sioux Falls you can take part in a community of adult students, all working hard in a variety of fields seeking professional development and continuing education credits for their careers.

Over 250 different course offerings are available each semester (fall, spring and summer) for teachers and education professionals seeking to gain new skills and meet requirements for K-12 continuing education credits. Topics include classroom management, assessment, common core, instructional strategies and many more.

Trust Administration

The University of Sioux Falls offers three courses to help those wanting to learn more about the South Dakota trust industry. These classes are for anyone currently employed in the trust industry looking to advance their careers, or for current undergraduate students desiring to get involved in the South Dakota trust industry.

Our most popular professional development workshop is an intensive 10-week program to prepare candidates to sit for globally-recognized Society for Human Resource Management certifications, SHRM-Certified Professional and SHRM-Senior Certified Professional.
