Payment Options
Payment options offered at USF are as follows:
You may pay existing balances online through your MyUSF account using any major credit or debit card – Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express – or using our eCheck payment option.
The Nelnet FACTS Payment Plan is a great way to break up your semester or annual balance into manageable monthly payments. You will not be charged the $50 late fee if you sign up for your full amount owed before the monthly deadline (28th of each month).

**Payments are processed on the 20th or the 5th.

- $25 enrollment fee for semester plan
- $45 enrollment fee for annual plan
- $30 returned payment fee

Please keep in mind that your payment plan does not know what you owe – any changes made to your student account balance will not automatically change your payment plan to match. Please contact the Student Accounts Office if you need to make changes to your payment plan.
Payments to your account can be made directly with the Student Accounts office. Stop by our office or call us at 605-331-6640.
We accept cash, check*, eCheck or credit or debit card payments. You may make credit card payments over the phone.
*A $35 Returned Payment Fee will be applied to accounts with returned checks.
Be sure to accept the financial aid you have been offered. Additional funding options include outside scholarships, a private education loan or a Federal Direct Parent PLUS Loan. Please contact financial aid with any questions.
Scholarships and loan proceeds must be structured to arrive before September 30 and February 28 for the fall and spring semesters, respectively.
