International Students
Below are the steps you will need to complete to gain admission into the University of Sioux Falls.
To begin the admissions process, please start by submitting our free, online application.
This will be emailed to you after we receive your application. Be certain to fill out all sections. If you are not transferring from another U.S.A. school, you do not need to submit the transfer form at the end of the addendum.
This is your sponsor's most recent bank statement showing sufficient funds for the first year's cost of attendance. The sponsor's name and account number must appear on the document. In some cases, you may be asked for additional documentation.
*Note: Financial documents should be scanned and emailed to international@usiouxfalls.edu.
For the admission decision, you may send a photocopy of your transcript(s). However, you must send an official transcript (not a photocopy) from your school before the Office of International Education can issue the I-20. In some instances, an applicant may be asked to submit a transcript to a credential evaluation service. You must have a 2.8 GPA or higher (U.S. equivalency).
- Minimum TOEFL score: 75
- Minimum IELTS score: 6
- Minimum Duolingo score: 110
Under certain circumstances you may not be required to submit a TOEFL, IELTS or Duolingo score. If you feel your English is strong, please contact the Director of International Education at international@usiouxfalls.edu to inquire about an English proficiency waiver.
