Welcome to the Office of Campus Safety and Security

University of Sioux Falls Campus Safety and Security is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for our students, employees and visitors. In support of this commitment, USF Campus Safety and Security is dedicated to delivering quality, professional security services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. USF Campus Safety and Security also assists members of the campus community who lock themselves out of their vehicles or need a jump start for their vehicle. 

Mission Statement

In the educational environment of which it is an integral part, University of Sioux Falls Campus Safety and Security aims to preserve the peace and protect life and property in a manner that is sensitive to the rights of individuals and to the values of the University. In fulfilling this mission, USF Campus Safety and Security stresses patrol, crime prevention and community service over other functions. USF Campus Safety and Security has four main objectives:

  1. To provide a safe and secure environment for members of the USF community.
  2. To ensure the continued operation of USF to fulfill its mission to foster academic excellence and the development of mature Christian persons for service to God and humankind in the world.
  3. To provide an educational crime prevention program through example, instruction and awareness.
  4. To maintain high levels of cooperation between Campus Safety and Security and law enforcement authorities.
